A Beautiful Sunday in Inverness!

Yay - we got Momma to make a post again woo hoo! What a last few weeks it has been, culminating with a trip to a beautiful place called Inverness - about 45 minutes from hereabouts! We set off yesterday to visit Mom's and Dadzer's older grandgirls, who live in Inverness. We'd never been there and knew it would be so cool! The house overlooks Tomales Bay, home to the most yummy "ersters" you ever did taste!

Can you believe the view?

There's even a swimming pool there - woo hoo! (But we didn't get to go swimming bummer!)

We snagged the older G-Kids and went to Limantour Beach! It was incredibly windy - we were afraid that the Gals would get blown away!

We'd already gotten our paws wet and then Sammie woofed out an "emergency stop!" Large Airedale at two o'clock!
"Chihauhua at 3:00! We took the necessary precautions, in case any doggehs wanted to steal our kong!
Lotsa big waters, but Avalon wouldn't reliquish her Kong to me... bummer!
Look at her!
On the way home.. we caught this sighting of Drake's Estero...
And on the way into town (Point Reyes) we caught sight of these gorgeous Tule Elk! What a beautiful Sunday it was!

What a fabulous trip for you all! I thought only dogeez from Bahston said "ersters"? Did Sammie and Ava get to have any? Jamie's mom LOVES them!!!!

What beautiful pictures!! Territoriality over the kongs - completely understandable!

And sheesh, that is one BIG Airedale. Seems he may have had a few too many biscuits! cute, though :)

What a gorgeous place and what fun you guys had. (But don't forget that we're into the months lacking an "r.") I will come back again and again to enjoy this great post.

You girls had a blast. The beach looked like so much fun!!! We used to visit that area a long time ago, and our dogs LOVED it!

The Tule Elk are so cool. I never actually saw them the whole time that I lived there. You're very lucky!
