I received this wonderful award from Tiffy, Coco's (http://luvbeingachihuahua.blogspot.com) new little (adorable) sister on the occasion of her first blog. I cant' thank her enough and feel totally badly for my belated expression of gratitude. THANK YOU TIFFY!!! Even though you said it would be your last post, I hope that Coco will relent and let us see a bit more of you - and... it seems that she already has allowed you some more space! Thanks to Coco too!

Congratulations Sammie, Tiffy is a cutie, just like her big sister!
You are right about the tea rooms - all these parks in Glasgow used to have wonderful tea rooms. Some still do but mostly they have been replaced with burger vans and ice cream vans!!!
They lack the Victorian splendour of the tea rooms! Our mum, who is an antique, used to go with her parents as a child and marvel at the tiered plates filled with sandwiches, scones and cakes. Afternoon tea was quite an event!
