Dear Friends,Thank you so much for your very thoughtful, kind comments about Terra. Her mom, Sue, conveys her thanks too. Terra's mom is doing remarkably well - she is tough and resilient, but still, of course, so sad. She has been keeping close company with Shanti in the last couple of days - I know Shanti is a comforting presence. This is a photo of me and Terra playing in Marinwood Creek - Terra (r) and me (with the kong, duh!). Me and my family are still a little shell-shocked; losing, really, two of my three good doggie pals here in "homeland" in just two months feels like too much. Mom's going to do a little research on this "hemang...." disease over the next couple of days. Thank you again so much for your generous outpouring of kind thoughts.

For someone who is still getting over the short life of our Tonka, I totally sympathize. I am so very sorry. However, when it comes to pets I truly believe it is better to of loved and lost than never to of loved at all.
Glad you are all doing as well as you possibly can be at this time. My thoughts are with Terra's friends and family.

Whenever our hoomans go through and/or we go through it with our siblings/furiends, it is diffikhult fur all of us!

Hemangiosarcoma is rapid and takes a life with little warning. My GSD, Tony, was fine all day. That night I heard him crying. Rushed him to the vet and he passed away the next day in my arms. Tony was one day shy of his 12th birthday.
There is never a good time to lose someone you love. You can spend 100 years together and when the time comes for parting, you always want another day.
