Mom's been having a panic attack over the crash of my blog. I think she clicked a wrong button and all H-E-double toothpicks broke out. So she's decided to start anew (she's still muttering ugly nothings) and build me a fabulocious bloggie. Like it so far? Mama was trying to create a post about our secret trip when the problems began, so she's attempting to do that again. Here goes! On late Tuesday afternoon, the grandpeeps showed up. Then Mom got home from work. Dad had the car all packed up and the five of us piled into the jeep. It was pouring rain. I was sure we were in for a great adventure. I was right. After a couple of hours, rain turned into white stuff and the going got really slllooowwww. But we finally arrived seven hours later - at, someone mentioned, Lake Tahoe!!! In the morning, the sun shone brightly and I had my first wrestle with powdery cold white cloud-like snow! I love the snow and hope to go back very soon! What a day I had and I'll try to get mom to post a photoshow. Here goes:

Such great pics of you in the snow. Mom just wish ours would go away she is so cold all the time. I try and keep her warm as much as possible. =)

The photoshow is great. WOW! what a lot of fun you had. Our mom's family had acabin at King's Beach on the north CA side of Lake Tahoe. Mom and dad used to live in the SF Bay are but then came east. Rusty and Penny once took a 3 week ride with mom to go swimg there. Mom and dad were at the cabin one 4th of July and drove over to Virginia City and it was snowing driving over Mt. Rose - on The Fourth of July.

Thanks everybody for finding me again. It will take a while to "fill out" my new bloggie, but you are all helping me with your enthusiasm! One problem (only Mom knows this) is that she is going back to NY to read from her new book there, so won't be able to work on this - too busy back there!) is that Mom's been helter skelter around here and can't be attentive gggrrooowwlll!
