Our Journey...

Think we forgot to tell you a lil bit about what sort of vacay we're on! Last September of 2011, Dad retired. He and momzers got an RV and decided to plan a trip across the country, visiting national parks on the way to Maine (where's that?) for a family reunion. That's a long trip from northern California! Anyway, this blog is now a record of our travels across the good ole U.S. of A. and even Canada - plus all the things we get to do and see! We started our journey mid-March and hope to be back in NoCal by mid-October - yeah!

MangoMinster! We Dig the Extreme Sports!

As everybuddy must know by now, the great Mango, famed far and wide for his many feats of incredulity (all performed with a humble soul of course), has sent out loud woofs to all potential competitors for his 2012 MangoMinster! You can go to the site of the games by clicking on his name, above! We are entering in the Adventure category!

Hi y'all! If it's Adventure ya wanna have, come join me doin' the Splash Dawgie thang! It's pretty scary at first, but then ya get into the swing of it and jes' let go and fly! On a hot summer day, there is nuttin' like it to cool ya off! Lemme know if'n any of y'all wanna come join moi, Avalon, in the sport of Dock divin'!!!

Hey! Moi here: Sammie the Rock Jock. I am soloing steep Sierra granite without chalk or even my climbing shoes - somewhere around Lake Margaret at an elevation of 8500 feet! I'm watchin' where I place my paws very carefully. This. Is. Extreme. Anybuddy who wants to learn how to climb like this, contact me, Sammie, at PawesomeGranite!

We are jes' so "up" for the MangoMinster that we can't help ourselves to enter! Maybe this is the harbinger for Mom to get her butt off the youknowwhat and start being the assistant we know she can be heheh!

You're one very athletic dog. Our sister Gracie does dock diving and even won a ribbon, but we like to swim from the boat. Good luck at Mango Minster.

Just checking out the competition on the Adventure Animal category. Sammie, you are a pup after my own heart, at least the rock jock bit. I am known far and wide (well, in Scotland anyway) for my geological expertise.

Wow swimming and rock climbing we are so impressed. Can you sign Fenris up for the Dock Diving he needs to learn how to swim, it is embarrassing to us cats to have a doggie that doesn't swim.

Dock diving scares me (BRD) so much! Our daddy tossed me off once and when I came up for aire, high tailed it to the shore. You ARE adventurous! Rock-hounding, like Sammie, is more my speed.bol. Good luck in MM2012!!
