Our Journey...

Think we forgot to tell you a lil bit about what sort of vacay we're on! Last September of 2011, Dad retired. He and momzers got an RV and decided to plan a trip across the country, visiting national parks on the way to Maine (where's that?) for a family reunion. That's a long trip from northern California! Anyway, this blog is now a record of our travels across the good ole U.S. of A. and even Canada - plus all the things we get to do and see! We started our journey mid-March and hope to be back in NoCal by mid-October - yeah!

Ozzie Update...

First, we thank you with all our hearts for all your wonderful and warm wishes for Oz's recovery. I went to visit her twice today and she was remarkably responsive to my coo coos and pettings. She purred and even tried to get up (!) and "leap"out of her very spacious accomodations. Considering that her right back leg is completely broken, quite a feat! We are absolutely certain that she'll come out of surgery tomorrow wonderfully well and will recuperate quickly. I took several photos of her, but my phone is being uncooperative in sending the photos here. We have the ultimate confidence in our surgeon and our vet. We still haven't been able to ascertain what happened to her or who kept Oz in that garage, but we're going to concentrate on getting her better at this point! Again, a zillion thanks for your beautiful comments - they matter so much to us! xo

So very glad to hear this update. We are sure she will do well once she is able to get back home with you. She must have been so scared in that garage for two days with a broken leg. Hugs and kisses to all from us.

Hey Gang,
Glad to hear that report on Ozzie. We'll all be thinking good thoughts and revving up the good vibe machine for the surgery. As much as we harass the felines here, we sure wouldn't wish any harm on them. Heck, they're family just like us. We're sure y'all feel the same about Ozzie.

We are glad the kitty is doing better! Animals are very resilient. We don't worry so much when we're in pain, the way people do. We just kinda deal with it until we feel better... and Oz will be feeling better very soon, we hope!
