Multi-Layered Stories Behind the Cookie Decorating...

After our intermissions walkie, we had to move on the decoratings of the cookies. We are such good helpers and ordered three icings: peanut butter, white chocolate and carob... mnnnnnnn. First, we needed to create a blank canvas on which to create whatever our imaginations dictated. But don't you know... the hoomans can get in the way.

And then, there was this other story. A few days ago, the undersink in the kitchen began leaking, fouling up the airs and everything, so we had to fix it and then dry it out with that heater you see in the pitchur below. However, that's not the real story. The problem in this photo is that Ozzie is in the underkitchensink and Sierra's having a fit instead of helping with the cookie decorations heheh.

So... once we got Sierra's attentions back, and Sierra's mom decided that these cookies were for us, we proceeded to decorate our bootiful xmas treats! Please biggify the show and Happy Holidays!

BTW, you should click here for "outtakes" (heheh) at Sierra's blog on this fun night!

Our human makes us cookies as well. We don't get frosting on ours so we would love to know what your mom uses for the frosting stuff. They look yummy yummy. Oh, your picture on the top of the blog is beautiful. The HoundDogs

Humans just don't understand how much they really need our help, especially with cookies!

Wowie! Are you sure those are dog cookies? I think I would have tasted a few myself! (Just to be sure they are safe for doggies, I mean. I would make that sacrifice.)

Sound delicious! I love baking treats for Simba.. It's so fun to be able to have to freedom to try new things with the treats and know that they'll eat it no matter what!

Looks fun! I've never baked treats for Bella before... this may inspire me to give it a shot. :)

Mom wishes she had more time to cook for the boys - but it doesn't always happen. You guys look like you are having fun (except for the water leak!)

My pups are SO jealous. It looks like you had a total blast, and lots of yummie treats at the end of the evening. I've given up trying to bake - it just hurts my back too much so my pups have to "make do" with store-bought treats. Poor dogs... :)

I like the outtakes. Hehehe. Nice to see other doggies are not always angels for the camera.

Yes, share your recipe for frosting please! Ozzie knows where it's warm and cozy, with the heater on under the sink. We've had that sink problem before, too--it's a pain!
