Our Journey...

Think we forgot to tell you a lil bit about what sort of vacay we're on! Last September of 2011, Dad retired. He and momzers got an RV and decided to plan a trip across the country, visiting national parks on the way to Maine (where's that?) for a family reunion. That's a long trip from northern California! Anyway, this blog is now a record of our travels across the good ole U.S. of A. and even Canada - plus all the things we get to do and see! We started our journey mid-March and hope to be back in NoCal by mid-October - yeah!

A Visit to (ssshhhhhhhhh)... You-Know-Who!

Yesterday was a furry exciting day! As a benefit for...

Ma and Pa took me (and one of my bestest pals hehee) to seeeeeeee... Santa Paws!!! Lytton Square in Mill Valley has a lot of colorful history that involves railroad travel and logging, but today, the square is a great place to hang out, drink coffee and grab a paper in the morning, or to use as a base from which to stroll around this ultra nice town. Below is a summer picture of the square.
Here are some peeps setting up Santa's throne! Later, the Humane Society will bring puppies to adopt. "Alphadog," a super nice pet store is partnering with the Society and also a great photographer, Allison Levinson, to take our pictures with Santa Paws.

Here are some pups waiting (pantingly) for Santa Paws to arrive!

...along with her housemate, below!

I can't wait!

A bit of trepidation...as Santa...arrives!

Look at the antlers on this little fella!

Here is a collage of some of the action outside and then inside "Alphadog."

And an uncut movie of me whispering to the man in red and other scenes on the square! Happy Holidays everypup! So many of you bloggers help other doggies throughout the year, day in and day out - we feel we can only try to help a few to have some happy and comforting moments in their lives over the length of this season. Mama got her residual check (remember this post) and is sending half of it (finally) to The National Canine Cancer Foundation.

Thank you to those of you who bought the book. Okay...on to visit some great friends! Hugs xox

Hi Sammie!

Thank you for visiting my blog today. You must be the best friend that Sierra Rose talks about on her blog! We are so glad to meet you and would love to be friends so we will follow you too.
Your visit to Santa looked like so much fun. We would love to get a picture with Santa. I think he comes to Portland but that's pretty far. Oh well :(

Now, I must tell you that the Duchess is going to order your book from Amazon. She REALLY needs it! After 45 years of smoking she quit and blew up like a blubber balloon. She is VERY depressed. You have given her hope and bless you for it!

Have a wonderful day!

We loved seeing you with Santa Sammie and in your lovely sweater!
We had seen you over on Sierra's blog and then realised we haven't been over to see you - we really are very bad bloggers, struggling to keep up these days!
We hope one day to be brave like you Sammie and not be scared of Santa.
We applaud all events to help out doggies needing forever homes.
We wish every dog had a home and every home had a dog!
love and kisses
