Eyewatch Friday

Hi! It's eyewatch Friday (check out Norwood's blog always, but ya gotta look at today's post over there! - http://norwoodunleashed.blogspot.com) You'd think Sierra and I were joined at the hip these days, but we like exploring together and that's exactly what we are doing here. I've never been to this park and it's five minutes away from my bed! The old roadbed is totally shaded by big old trees - a great place to go on a warm fall afternoon with my best buddy.

This is yet another area that our county has put aside for "open space" land furever. We are very lucky to have this for people, bikes and fur us doggies too! Lots to watch here, but as you will see, we are being watched too heheh!

As you look at each doggie picture, can you figure out which of us is Sammie and which is Sierra?

Another eye we saw along the way.

My eyes are very good, but my snooter's super sensitive to what might be in those woods!

Being watched yet again!

The eyes are everywhere! Getting paranoid. Better keep walking!

Uh oh... what is that? A sssnake? Must investigate. But I feel a tug on the leash and can't get close enough to see if it tastes like chicken.

Look at these eyes!!! Scary enough to keep me away from "it."
Sets me to panting though! Whew - glad we passed by safely.

We were almost at the end of the trail, when who do you think we caught spying on us?

Mr. Tree. I tried to see if there were any squirrels in there, cause I sure smelled them, but not today. Thanks for coming along with me and Sierra on eyewatch Friday. Have a great weekend!

Hi Sammie,

Beautiful eyes photos! You sure are enjoying your bonding moments with Sierra.

We got scared with Mr. Snake though. Good thing you spotted him right away and stayed safe. Must be really fun to go walkies in the parks. Mommy could not take us since the 7 of us can be quite a handful in our world but seeing the outdoors sure keep us entertained. Thanks so much for sharing.

Enjoy the weekend!

Hey Sammie,
Maggie and Mitch did Watchful friday and you do Watchful Friday! We didn't get the memo. You did a very creative Watchful Friday. The tree eyes is great. You gotta be very careful of snakes though; watch out for them. Most of the snakes around here are copperheads and two dogs came into the vet hospital where our mom worked this summer with snake bites. One of them went to The Rainbow Bridge; best to let the snakes go their way and you make sure to go the other way.

Hey there, Sammie
That was really a nice post. Thank you! We loved going on your walk with you. Sorry, we can't tell which pics are yours and which are Sierras. All are beautiful though! And that snake....
Well, we think it's beautiful..yes BEAUTIFUL! Snakes need to be respected but we can admire them from a distance. Wonder what kind of snake?

Hey Sammie! I saw a smooshed snake during my walk with Bentley, but my human thought it was a little too gross to post (but it was kinda cool looking, completely flat like a pancake).
