Ozzie Gives Blogging a Go...

I'm Ozzie. If the big dumb blonde comported herself in a manner more suited to my quiet, rehearsed ways, we might be better pals. But I do like to watch the goldie galumph around with her friends. They cause me to laugh deep within, for everytime they run, it's as if an earthquake takes place. Such heavy-footedness - sheesh! Okay, enough of a prelude. I've lived here longer than DB, as I call her, so I'm really the rightful queen of the land. I've demanded equal time over the last few months, and today, I'm finally getting some. Finally.
.

So yesterday afternoon, I was minding my own business and having a bit of a bath before dinner and look who showed up.

On the fence directly above my head. The arrogance! Besides, I don't like being disturbed while bathing.

Flying feather dude interested me - you better believe!

I sat up and glanced his way.

He didn't go far. Look what the mompeep attached to my neck. A collar that CAME with two bells and then she added two more with a velcro attachment along with a tag!!! I make so much noise that I frighten the garbage truck. So I just watch from a distance, knowing that the flighty creature is safe for now.

I can get up there too, you know - hehee!

But I just think I'll have a rest before supper on this warm patio. Thanks for stopping by my first blogging attempt. Have a great weekend all kitties (and other aminals).

I think you did a great job for your first time Ozzie. I sure wouldn't want to be wearing all those bells and noisemakers either. You've got a legitimate gripe and I suggest you take it to the management. Good luck!

Ha roo, Ozzie! It was awfully nice of Sammie to let you blog today. I think you and I would get along great. Stormy, too. Just... don't trust Ammy or Mr. Kong-on-a-Rope. No offense to them.

Aw Ozzy, mom just wants to be able to hear you when you're out and about!

Not that cats appreciate such kind sentiments... but I figured I'd mention it anyway..

Hi Ozzie
How lovely to meet you and may we say we were very impressed with your first blog post.
We thought you were a very sleek looking cat. Our mum had a cat for 22 years who had to suffer living with dogs - it is not easy!
She, like you, knew she was the rightful Queen of the house.
We could not believe the cheek of that bird either.
We know what a nuisance these jangly collars are - silly humans - they dont understand the hunter within!
Be patient Ozzie - it is not just dogs that have their day!!!
love
Martha & Bailey xx

Good job, Ozzie. And nice to meet you. But we better not get any closer than blogging, Mom doesn't think we would do well with kitties.

Woos, the OP Pack

Pee Ess - thanks for the sweet comment on the blog today.
