Our Journey...

Think we forgot to tell you a lil bit about what sort of vacay we're on! Last September of 2011, Dad retired. He and momzers got an RV and decided to plan a trip across the country, visiting national parks on the way to Maine (where's that?) for a family reunion. That's a long trip from northern California! Anyway, this blog is now a record of our travels across the good ole U.S. of A. and even Canada - plus all the things we get to do and see! We started our journey mid-March and hope to be back in NoCal by mid-October - yeah!

Progress and Pressies...

I feel so blessed.

I wanted my mom to make a quickie post to say humongous thanks again for all the well-wishing from so many doggies and other furry creatures (as well as your parents, too, of course). It means so much to me and I’m going to make an attempt at directing Mom to visit some of your blogs today to see what you’ve all been up to. Then I’ll dictate some commentary to Ma.

Doorbell does not ring, but Mom finds this and beautiful flowers on the mat. Thank you Honey!

I love this card too! What a happy Boston Terrier!

I had a pretty good night, but my stitches bothered me a little. Still, I actually ate two little jars of turkey baby food off of Ma’s index finger and kept it down. This is really good news. I’ve had lots of water and meds too and have also kept these down.

Golden Honey stopped by last evening, but never rang the doorbell. Imagine my surprise when we found the above on the mat. How gorgeous! Thank you so, so much Honey – I love tulips – especially “golden” ones and they are cheering me up! How sweet. And my pals at Pet Express sent a doggie carrot cookie home with Mom yesterday. I’ll love digging into that in a couple of weeks! Thank you, kind ladies at P.E. so much! I’ll keep you updated, but for now, I’m finally getting to visit some of your blogs.

Huge Hugs and So Many Thanks xo

Heya Sammie,
Homer J. sending this comment. We're sure glad that you're getting better. Me, Jubal, Jack and Shelby Belle have all have had stiches. Mine bothered me a lot and I wanted to lick them and scratch them. Jack, Shelby and jubal all got to wear dad's T-Shirts to keep them from licking. But I was licking and scratching so I had to wear on of dad's sweatshirts. We all put our heads through the necks and our front legs in the sleeves and then dad hoists up the waist and ties a knot in it on top of our backs that it's the shirt is in front of our privates so we won't pee on it when we do our business. It really worked great for me. We would swap out our shirts everyday for a clean one when we had our stiches cleaned. Neosporin with pain killer really helped them heal up quicker and not be as itchy. It was nice of Honey to leave you the roses; she's a special friend.

Why is everyone worried about Miss Samantha? She'll be just fine. Goldens have a way of pulling our heart strings...and they do it well.

The baby foodables are good when you are recovering from stomach problems. All those nice cards must help too.
